About

My name is Korina and I am an accredited practising dietitian/ nutritionist (APD) with a special interest in chronic disease prevention and management in adults.

My journey in health began at the age of 18, when I started as an assistant in nursing and then continued to become a registered nurse. In my numerous years on the job I have encountered and accompanied many people with health challenges and struggles. I have always enjoyed being able to provide support. The number one lesson I have learned is that good health is fundamental to living a full life.

Through my own experiences I recognised that nutrition plays a vital part in physical and mental wellbeing. I decided to expand my knowledge and I also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Food is only one aspect of getting and keeping well. It is not the answer to all questions and it is not the cure for all diseases. However, it has the potential to keep our cells functioning optimally, to alleviate symptoms, and to increase our quality of life especially as we get older.

We only have one body and it makes sense to look after it well. By making healthy choices we can influence how we are feeling and how we are ageing.

As there is no perfect diet and food means so much more to us than just fuel, it is important to find the solution that works for you. I am happy to listen to your concerns, share my knowledge and to provide guidance to help you reach your goals.

I currently practice in Brisbane and I am a registered with Dietitians Australia (APD) and AHPRA (RN) and I keep up-to-date with the latest developments and research in health and nutrition.
